More than 150 Seminole High School band members will perform while
marching the 5.5 mile route during the 116th Annual Rose Bowl Parade on Saturday, Jan. 1
in Pasadena, Calif. The band members began making the cross-country trip on Monday, Dec.
27.
Suncoast Wood Carvers meet Tuesday mornings, 8:30 to 11:30, year-round at the Seminole
Recreation Center. Blanks are available for various carvings for a fee. The group offers
instruction, coffee and cookies for $2.
The club meets second Tuesdays, 7 p.m., for a business meeting at the center.
