Free weekly performances at Seminole Lake Park
Fred Nunes and his Polaris Big Band Sept 14th continues Sept. 21 with Bobby and the
Rockets; Sept. 28, Wiley Fox; Oct. 5, Stacey Knights; Oct. 12, The Shaguars; and Oct. 19,
T.C. Carr and the Catch. Performances begin at 7 p.m.
Suncoast Wood Carvers meet Tuesday mornings, 8:30 to 11:30, year-round at the Seminole
Recreation Center. Blanks are available for various carvings for a fee. The group offers
instruction, coffee and cookies for $2.

Music in the Park is held Friday evenings in the
Seminole City Park, 7464 Ridge Road. All concerts are Free and run from 7pm to 9pm. Food

Seminole Florida News 12/16/2006 - The 41 Year old Seminole Mall was sold on December 15,
2006 to a new investment group called Downtown Seminole LLC of Delaware. They purchased
the property from Seminole Mall Acquisition LLC of Lakewood, N.J., for $35.7 million. The
out-of-state buyers listed their address with the Pinellas County Clerk of Court as care
of Aegis Partners LLC, 801 West Bay Drive, Largo.
Rumors of a sale of Seminole Mall and it's demolition have been rolling around for years.
The mall has averaged about a dozen vacant units inside the complex for a number of years.
Some who are currently leasing in the mall have stated they are moving out. Seminole Mall
was built in 1965 and renovated in the early 1990s. It consists of approximately a 424,000
sq.ft. mall, with 2,020 parking spaces. Among the anchor stores are KMart, Bealls, Publix
and the AMC Seminole 8 theater. The mall is located at 11201 Park Blvd, at the corner of
113th Street.

and GirlsTeams have scored numerous victories. Seminole is proud of your achievements.
More than 150 Seminole High School band members performed while marching the 5.5 mile
route during the 116th Annual Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, Calif.
